A towing mirror is an additional mirror that is fixed on the car mirror; as a result the dead corner will be reduced, so that pedestrians, cyclists and cars are all seen in time.
Repusel Towing Mirrors (Alufor with aluminium arms and Luxmax with tinted glasses and stainless steel arms) are supplied with either flat glass or convex glass.
Flat glass:
+ does not give any deformation, you see what see yourself. The distance of the traffic behind you is easily estimated.
– Less visibility than convex glass. To compensate this we designed a big mirrorhead for a great view.
Convex glass:
+ the panoramic view of the glass gives a larger view.
– Distance and speed of traffic behind are more difficult to estimate. After getting accustomed this you have a superior and comfortable view without vibrations.
Does your towing mirror fit?
Whether a towing mirror can be fitted safely depends on the form and size of your car mirror.
Before buying a towing mirror first have a look whether your car mirror is well fixed to the coach-work to evade minimal vibrations. In case the car mirror is not suitable than the magnetic plate mirrors are a good solution for your door or motor bonnet.
Our premium mirrors are the Repusel towing mirrors, which are in the top range. They fit on virtually all car mirrors, are equipped with durable plastic straps, and are tested and approved by the Dutch department of road safety. Moreover a fixation system of protective sucker’s and anti-slide cover avoids any possible damage to the car mirror. The strong multi-slide suckers ensure that the strap grips firmly on the mirror housing. The caravan mirror adapts easily to round-shaped and large car mirrors.
The Alufor is available in 4 types to fit your needs. If the caravan is wider than 2.40cm. we can recommend the long arms. A selection of convex glass (panoramic view) and flat glass (undistorted view) meets your specific requirements.

The Luxmax towing mirror is only for the real connoisseurs. The Luxmax offers the same benefits as the Alufor. The unique fixation system is equal, but its stainless steel arms and tinted glass (reduces strain on the eye at night or avoids blinding by the sun) are a big plus for long distance travel to Italy, Spain and other holiday destinations.
The Luxmax is available in 4 types to fit your needs. If the caravan is wider than 2.40cm. we can recommend the long arms. A selection of convex glass (panoramic view) and flat glass (undistorted view) meets your specific requirements.
